Greta Brunschwyler

Executive Director

Greta Brunschwyler has been leading informal learning centers; museums and nature centers for over 15 years. Her formal education background in animal science and the visual arts has laid the groundwork for her appreciation of both the science and the beauty of the natural world. Significant initiatives that Greta has spearheaded include programs for children and families with autism, community dialogues that consider contemporary environmental issues, and explorations of the philosophy and law surrounding the collecting of Native American artifacts. Greta has received many awards for her professional accomplishments, among them, the Governor’s Award for the Promotion of Cultural Tourism in Oregon and the Institute of Library Services Excellence in Peer Review.
