EduCrates - We have done all the work to make it easy to bring nature into your student’s learning! EduCrates are interactive loan boxes designed to enhance the environmental awareness of your students. Each box includes background information, activities and hands-on materials for specific ecological and natural history concepts. Boxes are available for check-out for two week intervals. ACORN – ACORN is an environmental education program series that utilizes activities, games, artifacts and live animals to teach natural history concepts to students grades K – 6th. Schools contract for multiple visits thought the year and teachers can choose from over 50 science and social studies lesson topics.

BEECH – BEECH is an introductory nature program series geared towards 3–5 year olds. Our lively 30-minute presentations are educational and entertaining in a format appropriate for our youngest nature lovers. Programs feature active learning, live animal demonstrations and hands-on materials. Briar Bush educators will work closely with you to create lesson topics to fit your curriculum.

After School Programs – Let us bring exciting natural history lessons to you in our after school program series. Register for a minimum of five (5) one-hour programs and we will broaden your students’ nature awareness while having lots of fun.

Teacher Workshops – New and experienced teachers alike will benefit from the content, skills, and processes of our workshops. We include hands-on experience, reference materials and curricula containing a wealth of ideas to give educators a broader background in science and the environment. Let our education experts customize a training session specific to your needs!
