Soak up the emerald green and warm sunshine of spring at the annual Briar Bush Celebrate the Sun special event. You will be surrounded by good friends and beautiful woodland vistas as you enjoy live music, great food, and great fun.

This year, we will be celebrating and recognizing Pennsylvania State Representative Josh Shapiro for his leadership and hard work on environmental issues as he receives the esteemed Griscom Award. This award was established to recognize and publicly honor local individuals who have made significant contributions to the conservation and preservation of the environment. Recipients have contributed significant time, energy, funds or ideas that have resulted in tangible rewards for our community. Previous winners include current BBNC Board President Henry Geyer, Robert White, Nancy Posel and George "Hank" Haines.
