On a hike, choosing one trail over another can make a huge difference. Henry and Nancy Geyer took their first strolls through Briar Bush in the 1970s, and in choosing this small oasis, changed their lives and improved BBNC in a myriad of ways. The Geyers have been active participants, volunteers, supporters, and leaders. As with so many of you, their family became part of the Briar Bush family - you can read more about their amazing Briar Bush story below.
After more than 40 years of service to BBNC and the greater community, Henry and Nancy are moving closer to children and grandchildren, but are again offering an inspiring challenge:
This year, Henry and Nancy will match every dollar donated, up to $10,000.
Your donation will go twice as far to support programs and initiatives that foster a lifetime connection to nature, including:
Nature and volunteer programs for people with special needs
Early childhood programs for underserved children
Financial assistance for summer camp and other programs
New therapeutic programs connecting nature and health
If you have ever enjoyed a walk in the woods, please consider helping us “walk the walk” of conservation, education, and service.
