Annual Members’ Meeting

Friends of Briar Bush Members

 

All Friends of Briar Bush Members are invited to the annual business meeting and program. Learn more about the work of your organization and enjoy a members-only program.

 

BBNC Director, Mark Fallon,

will take members on a walk in

the Briar Bush woods to rediscover plants that people have used for centuries as food, medicine, and materials. Come get a taste for the bounty of the forest with samples of pine needle tea and more!

 

The meeting and program are for adults.

Registration is not required.

Childcare is available.

 

Day: Saturday, October 22, 2022

Time:

  - Meeting/Refreshments: 1:30pm-2:00pm

  - Program: 2:00pm-3:00pm

  • 20% program discount for 1 adult on adult programs

All of the benefits above for one adult 65 years and older

Robin (Household) - $50

All of the above for a household living at one address plus:

  • Priority registration for summer camp

  • 20% program discount (10% for summer camp)

  • Four guests can accompany you for FREE each time you visit

  • Ability to rent the facility for private events

Cardinal - $100

All of the above plus:

  • One free program pass for one non-member for an onsite program (does not apply to camps)

  • Six guests can accompany you for FREE each time you visit

Blue Jay - $250

All of the above plus:

  • ALL guests come for FREE when accompanied by a member

  • Complimentary in behind-the-scenes tour with one of our environmental educators

  • Invitation to special spring member appreciation event

Great Blue Heron - $500

All of the above plus:

  • A private environmental educational program with a Briar Bush educator at your event

The Griscom Society - $1,000 +

All of the above plus:

  • Provide $500 towards scholarships to allow access for at-risk individuals to Briar Bush
