Summer Night Bio-Blitz
Become a scientist for the night and help the Briar Bush Staff survey all of the living creatures, big and small, that are found on the trails. Be sure to bring your keen observation skills! Then, enjoy refreshing popsicles after the program.

Family Nature Night - The Color of Nature
Bring the whole family for a fun night complete with live animal encounters and interactive stations relating to the theme of the night - all at your own pace. Family Nature Nights are geared toward children with sensory processing disorders and feature a forest sensory experience!

Creepy Crawlies - Campfire Program
Some have six legs, some have eight, and some have no legs at all! Discover Briar Bush’s resident creepy crawlies up close before heading out on the trails for a creepy crawly scavenger hunt. Then, enjoy s’mores around the campfire.

Beaver Moon and StarLab
Join a Briar Bush educator at the Crestmont Clubhouse for a night of full moon fun! Explore the night sky and search for animal constellations projected in our StarLab inflatable planetarium. Then, head outside and learn how to use a telescope to view the Beaver Moon.

Winter Survival
When it's cold outside, animals don't have mittens or hot chocolate to keep them warm. Instead, some sleep through the winter, some have thick fur to stay active, and others just pack up and leave! Explore the various winter survival strategies of plants and animals and learn how nature beats the cold in this cool program.

WinterFest 2026 - Trees in Winter
Celebrate the magic of the winter season at our annual WinterFest! Enjoy a variety of activities including guided hikes, animal encounters, games, crafts, and more.
