Winter Survival
When it's cold outside, animals don't have mittens or hot chocolate to keep them warm. Instead, some sleep through the winter, some have thick fur to stay active, and others just pack up and leave! Explore the various winter survival strategies of plants and animals and learn how nature beats the cold in this cool program.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel the program 15 days or more before its start date, you will receive an 80% refund (20% service fee). No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the program start date. To cancel, email Melissa Eldridge at melissa@briarbush.org.
WinterFest 2026 - Trees in Winter
Celebrate the magic of the winter season at our annual WinterFest! Enjoy a variety of activities including guided hikes, animal encounters, games, crafts, and more. No registration required - just dress for the weather and join the fun!

Members-Only: Love Bugs - Campfire Program
Fall in love with the marvelous mini-beasts all around us! Learn what makes bugs so important through activities, live insect observation, and plenty of creepy-crawly excitement. Then, enjoy s’mores around the campfire.

Family Nature Night - Spring to Life
Bring the whole family for a fun night complete with live animal encounters and interactive stations relating to the theme of the night - all at your own pace. Family Nature Nights are geared toward children with sensory processing disorders and feature a forest sensory experience!
